      • Electronic Tax Information System (eTIS)

    The goal of the eTIS sub-activity is to modernize the BIR and provide an enhanced tax administration system that can be fully utilized nationwide by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. This will increase the operational efficiency of the Bureau in registering taxpayers, processing tax returns, and accounting payments. The increase in government revenues through the proper collection of taxes is a milestone that is critical to achieving the Compact goal of reducing poverty as these revenues can then be used for the provision of the various social services needed throughout the country.

      • Automated Audit Tools (AATs)

    The AATs sub-activity will provide hardware and software tools than will support the BIR in conducting computer-assisted audits that will help ensure the proper compliance of taxpayers when filing and paying taxes.

      • Public Awareness Campaign (PAC)

    The PAC sub-activity aims to educate and inform the taxpaying public about their obligations and their duties as citizens of the Philippines in order to encourage compliance.

    • Revenue Integrity Protection Service (RIPS)

    The Revenue Integrity Protection Service is a relatively new unit which serves as the investigation and anti-corruption arm of the Department of Finance. The RIPS activity under RARP aims to support the Service through capacity building activities and the provision of software systems that will enhance their capabilities to implement their mandate.
